Supporting Pets of Today: Resources Meant to Help Pet Owners Achieve Financial Aid
The following are resources targeted towards people who are looking for financial aid for their pet's vet bills/medical care. These are also amazing organizations to volunteer with and donate time and money to. Please spread the word about the amazing work done by these programs to raise awareness and funding so more pets can be helped.

These programs only provide procedures that sterilize pets. Programs under this tab may also cover vaccinations.
These programs provide aid to owners whose pets require urgent actions to be taken to save them.
Programs here only help care for pets whose conditions are often chronic and require routine care. This includes dialysis, cancer treatment, and more.
These programs only give aid to certain ailments, such as pets with a disability or a certain illness.
Spaying/Neutering Programs
This program works with Long Beach shelters to find forever homes and spay/neuter shelter pets. Also can microchip shelter animals and organizes food drives for them. To inquire more, contact them directly from their page (contact tab).
Friends of Long Beach
This program provides spaying/neutering services for cats in their care as well as stray and feral cats. Please navigate to their "Request Help" tab for their policies and the specific Southern California communities they serve.
Cats in Need (of Human Care)
Also provides some other basic care such as vaccinations and microchipping in addition to spaying/neutering. All information for their services is under the "Clinic" tab. Clinic is located in Downey, California.
SEAACA
Does not directly perform procedures. The program puts the caller into contact with a clinic that is able to perform the procedure for a low cost. Locations include several Southern California counties. More information on their services can be found on their website's home page. They are able to be reached under their "Contact" tab.
Pet Assistance Foundation
Located in Oxnard, California, this clinic offers a few additional pet services (deworming, vaccinations). More information for their clinic can be found on their website (under "Contact Us") and the additonal services they provide are listed on their "Main" page.
Mercy Crusade
Also provides some other general pet services (vaccinations). More information of the specific services and their clinic locations can be found under "Services" and "Programs". Their contact information can be found at the bottom of each page.
San Diego Humane Society
Provides Emergency Care
If emergency services are required, call their number (found under the "Need Help" tab). Also performs both urgent and non-urgent procedures on cats only. Located in Sunnyvale, California.
Peninsula Catworks
Provides grants to those whose pets require urgent/emergency care. Does not administrate care themselves. Please view their "RedRover Relief" tab (under "What We Do") and scroll to "Urgent Care Grants" to read their eligibility requirements.
RedRover
Will pay for emergency care for pets located in Northern Nevada and Alachua County, Florida. Please contact their hotline under their "I Need Help" tab. This tab also has the eligibilty requirements and application steps.
Shakespeare Animal Fund
Provides financial aid to pets in Orange County, California for emergency and non-urgent care. For more information, go to "Our Programs" menu then "ARF - Animal Relief Fund".
OC Animal Allies
Only available to pets in Ohio. Provides funding for major medical procedures only. More information on what they do and how to apply is under the "Memorial Fund" section.
Jake Brady Memorial Fund
Located in San Diego, California but expanding throughout the US. Has many other programs to help improve the quality of life of pets, including helping pay for emergency procedures. All information (requirements and instructions) can be found under the "Apply for Assistance" tab.
F.A.C.E Foundation
Provides Non-Urgent Care
This program provides service to dogs only. Though headquartered in Staunton, Virginia, they are a national organization that provides financial aid. Their aid allows for pets to go to the vet and get the care they need.
The Mosby Foundation
National organization centered in Tennessee. Will only take cases where they can pay 100% of the amount required from them. For more information go to the "Ask for Help" tab on their website to apply or contact them directly.
Brown Dog Foundation
All information can be found on their website. To ask for help with a pet or animal contact their hotline ("Hotline" under the tab "Programs"). This is a national organization that gives a wide range of support to both pets and wildlife.
Voice for the Animals Foundation
This program will only provide financial aid for non-basic and non-urgent care (e.g. cancer treatments). View their qualifications under the "For Pet Owners" tab and contact the program to inquire more about an application.
The Pet Fund
A mobile clinic that does surgeries only. This program can also perform spaying and neutering procedures. For more information, scroll to the bottom of the website and click "Mobile Vet Clinic". Address is in Culver City, California.
The Sam Simon Foundation
Provides a wide range of services at their clinic is Van Nuys, California. Provides general and non-urgent care at more affordable prices.
Pet Orphans of Southern California
Provides services to people living with HIV/AIDS, seniors, and US Veterans. Includes veterinary services and other essential services for pets of these owners. This program is located in LA, but has programs in other PAWS organizations across the country.
PAWS/LA
Provides a variety of care for pets through grants. Both indivuals and organizations can apply for financial aid. Please navigate to the "Requesting a Grant" section to view the qualifications and requirements.
Onyx and Breezy Foundation
Gives financial aid to pet owners with limited income (exact amount varies depending on circumstance). More information on what is needed in order to apply is given under the "Application Process".
Help-A-Pet
A clinic located in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Can perform a variety of procedures (orthopedic surgery, digital radiology). Also helps with animal food security. To make an appointment, go to the "Companion Animal Hospital" under the "Services" tab.
Helen Woodward Animal Center
This program gives money to veterinary practices that provide(d) discounted or free services to someone's pet. Best way to apply is through the Good Samaritan Fund. This program is centered in St. Morriston, Florida.
Veterinary Care Foundation
A clinic in Voorhees, New Jersey that offers general care (vaccinations, wellness exams, neutering/spaying). More information of their services is available on their website. Contact information is under their "About Us" tab.
Animal Welfare Association
Is able to help provide funding for pets in Southern California. Gives grants to help pay for care and vet bills. Their application process can be found at the top of the screen shared with the search bar. The instructions are under the "Downloadable Resources" tab.
Animal Health Foundation

Joybound
Specialized Care
This program gives aid to cats who are suffering from Injection Site and Vaccine Associated Sarcomas (ISS and VAS). Please check the qualifications tab before applying; both tabs can be found at the top of the page.
Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program
This program only provides wheelchairs for disabled pets. To apply, click "Apply for a Wheelchair Donation" at the top of the page and fill out the form with all the required information.
Handicapped Pets Foundation
